theme challenge - flower - through the cracks

Description

Finally got a standing request wrapped up in time for Christmas. I figured I could also call it the Flower prompt, kill two birds with one stone? Filing under Nature -> Flowers, because while their are surreal elements they're pretty low-key.

very pretty flower, I like the framing [blue photo tabs not quite holding the off center corners]. is it growing up from light cracking out of a shell into darkness, bringing the light with it? that's what it seems to be. anyhow, cool ground whatever it represents.

Thanks, Jadis! (And Jadis is back! Yay!) The flowers in my reference shots were actually growing out of pavement, but yeah, I did mean to have it coming up from the light. :) I thought the lady I made it for might be able to use some light.
