Not as such; Since my first picture I've used it as a reference/thumbnail each time I redrew it. That and multiple lion faces to get the first one anatomically correct (since I liked the face structure I created when I first drew him.) All he needed was a bit of mule lengthening and eye fixing. The background was just randomly happened. I should of used a ref for that but... >O>Sad (but true) I can draw lions in my sleep; too many years of Lion King fan Art to blame xD
