I'm just gonna come out and say that I am a Christian, I look to Christ Jesus savior and my God. So I designed this painting to resemble my faith.
Now I may have mentioned it before that my Internet nickname is 'Fire Blaze' and used it for many years before I joined My Pack. I know this may sound kinda dumb, but I feel that there is some wolven qualities contained within me for the way I sometimes act or some things I find myself doing. Blaze is what I named that, my inner-being. Fire was added because I am 'On Fire' for Christ, My soul burns for Him.
So there is my wolf, Blaze, the fire at her paws shows her energy. It gives her strength and she uses it to protect those around her, Just like my 'Fire' burns, though it cannot be physically seen, I feed it by giving out a servants heart and it gives me a stronger heart. the flames gives back to God, flowing up into the air, the only thing I can ever offer back for the sacrifice he made for me. And for that, he gives me wings to fly on, thus is the Harris's Hawk's wings
In darkness, we are all the same, but when revealed by light ( in this case, the flames) only then are our true identities and hearts revealed.... that's Blaze's MoonChild form.
Also, the rising smoke purposely creates an 'X' form with the Hawks wings in which in Greek, X is symbolized as the 'Cross of Christ.' and which anyone who will notice, is right in the middle of the picture, where God is with me, in the middle of my heart.
Oh, And the Harris's Hawk is the symbol of my wolf because it's the only raptor joins groups to hunt, all others are solitary hunters. And Blaze loves to Hunt!!! And that represents me too because I'm a hunter when it comes to looking for rarities and Hard-to-get's for my Toy collection ^__^

This painting was created for a contest on My Packs web forum: What makes our wolf stands out.
The background story for my Fire Blaze is posted in my gallery.
Music influence: Amethystium
Media: mostly Watercolor but also a bit of Prismacolors, Acrylics, real feathers (the feathers do look kinda dorky only because the light from the scanner was like a spot light on them. It looks better in real life, trust me XP)

Wow, brillant picture! And finally, fellow Christians. They're not easy to find on the Net anymore. As a matter of fact, Christian friends are just plain hard to find. I'm also a Christian (as you may have guessed) and it's not very often to see someone say that they are a Christian on the internet. Anyway, I love the picture and your explination about it. And trust me, it's not dumb at all to find you may have some wolf qualities about you. I find myself seeing it in me as well sometimes, mostly by my actions in different situations. Though I haven't gotten around to drawing what I think my 'inside wolf' may look like. I don't have a Pack either but that may just as well be the fact I like to be alone, so you could call me a lone wolf. ^^0 My friends are probably close to being Pack. I would do anything for them, they're my best friends and I hate to see any of them hurt. But as I said before, I love your picture. It's amazing. Keep it up!
