Flare Dragon

My best dragon since years ago. this one took me a long time to finish with the details and shading with pencil crayons. It was hard but I think it was worth it. I hadn't drawn a dragon in years and it felt pretty good to draw one again.

There's an entire story behind this dragon. It's purpose wasn't only for me to start drawing dragons again, but as a concept art for dragon designs for this game company developing a new online game. A friend of mine suddenly told me she was one of those volunteers chosen to help design characters for that company. ( Lucky her!) I was interested and asked if I could possibly submit a few things, so she said yes, and thus I began on this dragon. Thing was, I had to fo full turn arounds. In other words, in every possible angle and veiw....HARD! I only did a standard veiw, and close ups with the face, and I was working on the rest until I foudn out my friend dropped out and lost contact with the company and person in charge.....So things went down hill and I gave up so....yes THIS is the stndard one.....man...and to think that could somehow have had this draogn computerized and used in an online game! Maybe even a boos or summon! Argh! >< =(
