Wow, did I have one hell of a weekend! (a good one that is) My mom finally had her BIG art show this weekend down at the campus with two other artists and the gallery was absolutely gorgeous! We had a successful turnout, and a 170 people showed up for the artist reception. (whether it was for the free food or no. hee hee) Also, it was pretty cool how my friend Mallory and I were getting checked out by college guys when we weren't being guarded by my dad. And my mom sold one of her peices!! So hurray for that! *MEGA SQUEAL*
After all that, my sister had her birthday party and we celebrated her 13th year with some bowling with the bumpers of course. I didn't do so well though. *shrugs*
Anyhoosen, the picture! This is suppose to be a character based off myself in me and Mallory's whole book project. Her name is Jadelynn and she is an artic fox shape shifter and brother to the Prince of Haslynn (the main house of shape shifters). So ya, pretty cool n stuff. She's really suppose to have bright jade green eyes, but I just couldn't settle on a green that would go well with the other colors, so I guess we'll just have to pretend.
I'm not sure if I like the background or not, but due to Mallory's enthusiasm I've decided to submit it just like it is so, I hope you like it! And yes, I've realized I've been using the sparkles alot huh? I happen to be a sparkle addict and I'm proud of who I am! Hee hee, j/k.
To anyone who reads this horribly long artist comment I salute you and wish you a fabulous week! Oh and before I forget to mention this, the picture was actually inspired by someone else's work. I made some major changes so as not to copy or steal her work, but I need to make this clear so I won't offend anyone, so...yeah. Thanks again!

Hey, your mother sold one of her pictures.. that's so awesome !! ^^ Yay for an awesome art gallery ! And happy birthday to your sister too ! The bigh 13..officially a teenager ^^ Now back to the picture. This is really awesome. I love the backgroung and sparkles and the fox is absolutely amazing !! I love how the picture looks with the white and blue combined...it really does remind me of the arctic. I really adore this picture *faves* Avali you have done it again ^^
I love her dress... even though it's like half hidden behind the fox, it's still gorgeous. Is she a princess perhaps? Or a lady of high nobility? Wait... aren't those the same things? >.<
