I think this is the last gift art I had ready to be submitted, but I may submit some of the other painting studies as sketches. (wait till you see the kitties!)
Anyways, I would like to dedicate this piece to my dear artist-friend Elichan. Elichan, I love reading your comments, because they're so hilarious and you're always so expressive! You have such a wonderful personality and you really bring it out in your writing. I can't wait to see more work from you, because you are a fantastic artist. *hugs* Love ya girlie!
I once did a painting of cherry blossoms, but it was so horrible I didn't mess with it. I tried painting some more cherry blossoms, and this time they turned out pretty cool, but when I scanned the image, my scanner intensified the red to where it kinda hurts to look at. LOL, OUCH! I hope you don't mind, Elichan. I thought you would like some cherry blossoms and gave it a shot. *shrugs*

Wow, I really love these. I don't think the red is hurtful at all, rather, the intense red and green give the whole thing a more surreal feeling. Also, and I don't know if you meant for this to happen or not, but the branch from which the whole thing starts looks just like a hand reaching out. Now this is an awesome picture.
