Van & Hitomi 'Sora'

Escaflowne has been one of my fave anime for *thinks* nearly 3 years now! But this is my first ever fanart ^^ That's because of two things; firstly, I finally saw the movie-which totally made me want to go and draw a Hitomi and Van pic, and secondly, because of the song from Laputa Castle In The Sky called Kimi Wo Nosete. It's really beautiful, and it kept putting this image in my head (God knows why, it's a completely different anime o___O) until I was finally brave enough to draw it! So here it is!
