This past year I was one of the artists for the literary magazine at my school. We needed a map of Wonderland to be on the inside cover so I decided to draw it. It was a lot of fun. I used tea to stain my paper and then some<br />
blue calligraphy ink for everything else. The water was made by smearing the blue ink around the page from the waves. I really liked how it turned out.<br />
Cartography is something I am definately interested in now. =) Hopefully the college I choose will have a course in it. That would be most excellent.

Haha! and hooray for Killick too! Sorry, you probably got excited thinking this was an important post. Um...I love your compass rose, shading on the hills- that you yoinked from that LotR map, right ;)? And I like the outlines, then thicker outlines around the water.
