Somehow the process of adding color to the original drawing was rather relaxing. I felt a lot less stressed even though my situation now is kind of hellish. *sighs* All I want is a little happiness.

I feel like this is the kind of artwork that represents me as an artist/person. There is more to me than what you will see at first glance.

Anyways you can see some of the process on livestream. Yeah you can see a bit of the coloring in the most recent video. https://new.livestream.com/accounts/4423361/events/2193059

Nicole1725It was my first time coloring a painting with overlay. It was an interesting experience and I think the outcome is a lot different from my normal artwork.

luckylace222Gahhhh, what an incredible "painting!" If this truly represents you as an artist, you have quite the brilliantly colorful/convoluted mind! This would be the best RPG statue ina  game ever!

Nicole1725I'm not good at anatomy and poses, but I can do swirly lines and random details. lol I'm not someone who can really plan ahead. I find it difficult to go into working on an artwork with an idea in mind. Maybe it would be easier if I was more well trained in the basics. Thats probably my biggest problem.

luckylace222If you think you have a problem, try to fix it! However, right now, I feel you are doing pretty good with your mastery of THIS type of style!

MorpherI love the mish-mash of creatures combined into one and the colors are so lovely and beautifully blended together. Fantastic work! :-)

Nicole1725I don't even know how it ended up this way. I just started drawing blobs and went along with it.

MorpherAh, creating something that even the creator isn't sure how it came to be. Simply just letting your imagination guide you through the creation process leads to spectacular creations; such as this wonderful creature you created here. :-)

Nicole1725Yeah sometimes it's better to just go with the flow and let your tablet pen run wild.

Nicole1725Using overlay made that fairly easy. I think I might attempt to color this way again someday.

Task002Yes it does make it easy to pick and choose colors but its weird how the color never comes out the way i envision it when i do gray scale with color overlays on layer masks. I'm still trying to figure out a process that I like but you did a lovely job with it here.

Nicole1725Yeah I don't know much about doing it at all. I'm sure that I could probably learn more from other people who do it often.
