I've always been told that it's fairly generic. Well aside from my monsters and such.

I need to learn to draw more than floating heads. ;_;

Have you ever tried oekaki?

Oekaki is just a word that means drawing or doodle. Online it refers a number of Java applets that allow you to draw in your web browser. You can post the finished product on a BBS and receive comments from others.

You must surprise us with at least ONE of your newly improved art. It was so lovely/colorful/skilled before. I totally want to see how far you have come from there!

I stopped coming on here because of the annoying ad blocker message. I have not seen it so I'm unsure if it's gone or not. lol

I don't really have much new art to post, but I do have a few things.

They should let me make a new banner... I know this one won a PS3 or something, but it's been a few years now. ;_;

GO FOR IT. When you finish the banner, I will bring it to the attention of the FAC boss, and we will talk about it. While you were gone, the FAC community was actively talking about changing the pheral design, but the site helper in charge of it became busy, and submissions for the new design were not that great. It would be fabulous if you could give your artistic 2 cents- that is if you have time!

My friend also had trouble with that ad blocker message. Some ad blockers see FAC as a dangerous site (but somehow, they do not see DA/Gaia as a dangerous site, lol). I believe you edit your ad blocker so that it makes FAC an exception or just turn it off. If it is not showing for you anymore, than that is excellent!

You do not have much new art to post? Well, a small amount encourages more and more later. What to have to show is worth it. I remember when I was still noobishly roaming around FAC looking at good artists, and you were definitively one of them; you had beautiful color schemes and you sought to be mature always. You even got featured Artist! I sought to be like you. Then, you went away, and I was like, "NOOOOO!!!" Whatever you submit back to FAC right now, it will be just as influential as back then.

Also, you know FAC is having its first official Halloween contest of 2011 soon right? We are currently having a poll to find out what type of theme people want most, and even if you are not interested in the contest (prize= putting winner & picture on mainsite), please contribute your opinion anyways!

So you guys don't want a kitty mascot anymore? Since I wasn't around for the discussion I don't really know what you all are looking for. I thought the cat with a paintbrush has always been the site mascot even if it's drawn differently.

I think we are both thinking of a different adblocking message. The one I am referring to was the blue text on the site telling you to disable adblocking. I guess because they wanted to make money from ads or something? It wouldn't allow you to go on any other page until you fully closed out of your web browser.

I've not been confident enough to draw. I'm trying to practice with photo references, but I'm not making any progress. It just brings me down... More so when my sister tells me that my humans are boring... >_>

Sure I'll check out the poll. I think I like the first 2 options best. #1 Because I like monsters, and #2 because I like forcing characters to cosplay.

Yes! Sorry for the lack of clarification; we were looking for another design of the cat. A dark blue cat is still FAC's mascot. We were thinking of putting in Sam (a brown-haired girl with a sailor outfit), an old mascot, but we realized it would be hard to fit her in. A cat was fine enough.

I believe we are speaking of the same ad blocker message. I am not sure if FAC made it so that YOU had to see the ads to access the site, but I have been able to bypass it for a long time. It may have something to do with the fact that I use the old Silver 2.0 layout (if you want to see what it looks like, go to Site Theme under Edit Profile, and choose "Silver 2.0." Tell me what you think). I also use Google Chrome and downloaded AdBlock for it. No blue message has bothered me ever.

You know, I find it almost amazing that brilliant artists still go through glum and low confidence about their art. Look back at your FAC gallery. That brilliant lively style and colors were not sprouted from low self confidence. You have definite talent and ability when you made those pictures, and I assure you, you still have it now. I do not care what your sister says. Nor what others say. Your humans/elves/especially your dragons look amazing and they always have an interesting position in the picture. -And my opinion is worth 20 times more than your sis or others. >:) (and even if one says there is no seem progress in practicing, there is ALWAYS a small form of improvement, even if one cannot see it. The effort you have put in so far was worth it.)

-If you do not mind and have time, we should do an art-trade to bring up your artistic mood. I want you to boast about your amazing art, because by golly, you deserve it. It almost sounds like you've been in a slump.
