Three... whole... days... this took me.
Dear FREAKING god.
Well, the fact that most of my weekend was participating in the Speech tournament contributed to that. But STILL. OMG.
Now time for a LOOOOOOOONG explanation. Hope your attention spans are long enough. No offense, I can barely get through the day with mine.
So, this whole picture reflects the Four (from the "Dragon Series"), and their future professions in the Secret and Ancient Society of Dragonologists(SASD, that's their symbol in the middle) and their expectations in that field, being slowly revealed in the current 4th installment ("Dragon Feud"), and to become official in the 5th.
Roy is the Half-dragon, obviously, charged with using his powers to protect dragons and improve human-dragon relations. He poses with a Welsh Red Dragon (Topwing, perhaps?) and a Gargouille.
Marth is the Dragon Expert, charged with researching known materials and exploring new dragonic theories, including both chair and field study. Here he's in chair study. X3 And he looks like a NERD! I hope you Marth fangirls are happy. And I know his scolar outfit is similar to the school outfit, but... it fits.
Pit is the Dragon Rescuer, charged with taking dragons away from harmful situations (being sold on the market, forced to perform for audience, forced to guard treasure, etc) by any means possible. Here we see him fleeing from a Chinise merchant, rescuing a Mongolian Screamer (the way its head is tilted is the reason it seems to have no eyes X3). His new clothes were tailored by Ryka, expect for the undertunic and sandels. He bears the SASD seal there on his arm. The crown is a gift from an Eastern Temple Worm he helped rescue.
Link is the Dragon Breeder/Caretaker, charged with... well, that's obvious. He works closely with Pit around a ranch they built in an indisclosed area, to protect the innocent chicks. Pit rescues 'em, then helps Link take care of them until they're ready to go. Here he's outside the hut, holding a Frost Dragon egg, with a Great Snow Dragon and an Emerald Dragon scampering around his feet. The wind chims behind them calls them back, as the ranch extends a far distance for the dragons to have their space. Link's outfit is composed of various gifts he recieved from the dragons and people he's helped: Silk from the Japanese Butterfly Lizard, Trinkets from the Welsh Red D., feather from the Chinese Golden Worm, Crown from the Eastern Temple Worm (same as Pit's), Horn from Emerald D., Teeth from Frost D., Mane-skirt from Tibetian D., Mane from Great Snow D., Boots from a european wizard, and, his most treasured, a ring made from the red stone Ruby gave him. And, of course, a few seals from the SASD.
Most of the dragons mentioned, besides the Gargouille, Frost D., and Tibetian D., were created by Greame Base, the GENIUS of fantasy and science fiction. The SASD and every other dragon belong to the makers of "Dragonology."
...whew...
Comment, please! I worked so hard!

mrsaturn123Sweet! I just started reading the series and I like it so far. It's really well written. This pic looked like it took a long time. Marth you nerd  XD! Who cares, Marth is cool anyway. After all...I'm a nerd. Yep. Oh, nice job on the coloring too. *faves*

Moni-kun...Aya! So cool! T_T

I have a hard time putting more than two characters in a picture...so I honor you for doing something I will never want to do. o_o

Heeee! You colored it, as well. Something else I usually don't do. (haha)
