Ah, I just read the book, and fell in love with it. After reading the book and learning it was a musical, I purchased the soundtrack and fell in love with that. ^^;;; I was actually going to include Boq, Nessarose, Avaric, Pfanee, Shenshen, Crope, and Tibbett in the picture as well, but it would have been very crowded if I did, so I didn't.<br />
<br />
Elphaba's design is completely based off the musical. Galinda is a mixutre of the way I pictured her in the book and the way she looks on the musical. The only thing on Fiyero from the musical is his costume. The sking color, hair, and blue diamonds are from the book and the way I pictured him.<br />
<br />
All in all, I rather enjoyed drawing this. =)<br />

Great job. Elphie looks great. Galinda (or Glinda if you rather) looks just as perky as I thought she'd be. Fiyero looks so much like I figured he would in the book (the musical left the diamonds out because the audience wouldn't see them well) he looks cool. I haven't yet seen the musical, but I own the soundtrack, sheet music and book....and I have the Grimmerie on order for when it comes out next month. They are SO adorable! I love it!! *faves*
