Masquerade!

Ok, this is based off a sketch I did. I invited two friends over to watch The Phantom of the Opera and have a sleepover at the end of the 04/05 schoolyear. The one had seen it once and the other had seen it on Broadway. I saw it a few times, and I was completely obsessed. We couldn't get to sleep, and the one had the soundtrack. We put it on, and I grabbed up a pencil and paper and began drawing us as people at the Masquerade Ball.

This one is me. A few days later, I traced and colored it. I let my friends take their pics home, but I made a few others.

Anyway, this is also the pic in which I learned to draw shoes other than from a front or side view, more like a 3/4 view. The original was done July 25, 2005, and this one was done on the 29th.
