I'm a HUGE Willy Wonka fan. I love Johnny Depp, but I love Gene Wilder as well. My friends find me to be a bit of a nut. I quote the book and movies a LOT, I often carry a cane around, and some of my friends even call me Wonka. I was really suprised one day when a friend of mine asked me wh I hadn't drawn Willy Wonka yet. The thought hadn't even occured to me. When Entertainment Weekly came out with the articles and pictures of Depp, I immediately ran to Jewel, bought a copy and made copies of the pictures that I could graph out to draw from. (I should have another one up soon.) I did the graphing and the outline one day, and after I saw the midnight showing of Charlie, I was inspired to draw this. So here it is!! Another piece I'm proud of enough to show off. I love comments and constructive criticism.<br />

LOove how you captured the essence of johnny depp, who's one of my fav actor. Great pencil work where the shadings are very on point. Love the way you spend time on details such as the het and the hair. One word, Fantastic.
