Well, in this one version of YYH in some other country (I don't know which), they made Kurama a girl and then tried to cover up thier mistakes by saying he was a boy but got turned into a girl (or was it the other way around?). Bastards! And by the by, I heard that demon foxes would have it w/ anybody, male or female, or something like that. But I know not w/ Hiei. Togashi-sensei himself said so. wow that's really good!! ^^ no they're not gay and kurama is NOT girl.lol the people who draw them that way r the ones who r weird. sumhow htey get silly ideas. newayz they r good friends but hiei won't admit it lol ^^
