alitta2Looks great!
I guess this is the first time you've uploaded a manga-style artwork here, so it's interesting to see how well it matches to your style (especially the way of colouring, that turned out here great as usual).
But correct me if I'm wrong :)

SaltwaterThank you kindly for your very nice words.
I am an absolute beginner for the Manga style, but it is not very difficult actually.
I think this drawing is only my second attempt, my first try is here on FAC:

(it was a digital drawing, not a traditional drawing)  :-)

TeeJay87The character you drew reminds me couple of those I've seen in couple of anime and Japanese videogames.

I've always been wondering, why do those characters often wear such strange-looking hairdos - either formed under weird angles (Son Goku from "Dragon Ball" , Cloud Strife from "Final Fantasy VII" or Yaiba) or/and dyed with bright colours.

SaltwaterSuch hair styles are very trendy and eye catching;
must be the reason why they follow this fashion.
They want to stand above the rest.

luotakuluEver notice how many of the anime/manga hairstyles defy gravity? lel

They are each in their own hair world, it seems. It also makes the Japanese pop-culture unique and diverse from others of its kind, like you said.

Manhwa hairstyles are half as bad... maybe. (Manhwa [pronounced like mon-hu-ah, smoothly] is Korean graphic novels, aka the "Korean version of manga", if you didn't know.)

SaltwaterThanks for the details.
I will check "Manhwa" on Internet, and see if I can find some interesting examples of drawings in that style.  :-)

luotakulu"Whooaaaaaa..." was what I thought when I saw this drawing. It is absolutely perfect, Saltwater! I loove it!! ;3; Sugoi!! ("Awesome!")
Thank you for still thinking of me even when I go on and off this site; you are a wonderful friend. :'D
~Hoh, you draw anime/manga styles better than me //cries *^*

It is such fun to draw!
I don't know much about manga, yet actually it is less difficult than drawing a traditional portrait. :-)
