Description
Saltwater
Little Santa

Santa's Little Assistant  :D

Traditional artwork.

Girl drawn with markers on paper.

Background added in Photoshop.
Framing created in Photoshop as usual.

details:

This is another drawing for the Christmas Coloring Book contest on PaigeeWorld.
as a base, I used a Lineart by xxanjuxx from PaigeeWorld.

I redrew the lineart manually with a black pen (Pigma Micron Fineliner 08)
on layout paper (Canson XL Marker -- 70g/m2).

for the colouring, I used mainly my Letraset ProMarkers as usual.

That drawing on paper was scanned.

Then the finishes were done in Photoshop.
(signature, background and frame added in Photoshop)

TeeJay87If there is a manga or anime about Christmas, the main protagonist would definitely look exactly like in your painting. ;)

SaltwaterThanks. :)
As stated in the description, it is based on an original lineart by xxanjuxx from PaigeeWorld.
You can do your own too, if you like.
There are half a dozen linearts available, free to download.
If you are satisfied of your artwork, you can enter their contest.
It is free too,  you have to be a member, and registration is free and easy.

TeeJay87Thanks, though I'm not myself into Japanese comics and animation.

SaltwaterNo problem.
I must admit it is difficult to be on many sites;
it is very time-consuming. ;-)

This being said, actually they have a lot of styles and genres represented,
even if the most popular seem to be the comics (both Japanese and western).

This one (link below) doesn't look like a manga, does it?

alitta2Great job on it, even it's based on a lineart.
I'm neither much in anime-style, but I admit there are some masterpieces. that I like so much, notably El cazador de la bruja, or Akira :)
