Well here is the next picture. This is actually the second chapter. *laughs* But whose paying attention right? This would be where Eragon is hunting in the forest and finds a weird blue stone... hm... wonder what that could be. *laughs*
This picture was fairly easy to do aside from the tree roots. I messed with the lighting a bit on Eragon's face and after about a half an hour, it looked close to how i wanted it to. (I still think he looks like a weird Nightcrawler. ) Ah well though.
Time Taken: About 4 and a half hours
Materials: Hand drawn with an HB pencil and colored with Corel Painter 8 (Does anyone really read this?)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!The shading is great, the 'stone' is great, the overall atmosphere of the pic is great!

i read it!and the effects are great i dont see anything that looks like a nightcrawler.
it looks like an illustration at the begining of a chapter in some of the books i read.
his expression is a bit unreadable but the detail makes up for it. unless you meant to do that in which case it was a success.
