Y'know, a little bit of exposure/tone adjustment in Photoshop can help compensate for "bad" scanner settings. That is, if your scanning utility doesn't already have options for it. Sorry I'm not dropping a comment on the pic itself (which, in my opinion, still turned out okay) but I hate seeing people complain about their P.O.S. scanners. ;)
