hmm but I think his arms are okay. I can see why you would say that, but he's at an angle and do this in a mirros, where do your elbows come to when stand tall, shoulders back and you fold your arms? Just a little above your waist right? If you let your shoulders slouch forward your arms come lower and appear somewhat longer. I didn't think Capt. Sagara would slouch. I go for that kind of realism. Lots of animes and mangas though, give characters reeeally long arms and legs.

hmmmm but on closer inspection perhaps the broadness of his shoulders makes his arms look shorter??? >.> I'll watch for that next time I draw folded arms. hahaha

But again, thank you for your comment. I mean no disrespect with my reply. I just wanted to point that out since I actually took a long time deciding how to place his arms. haha. I'm glad that you would pay close enough attention to comment on anatomical correct-ness. Most people don't. ^_^

That is a great pic of Captain Sagara, or as Sanosuke and the one artist dude that was once a member of the Sekiho Tai refers to him in the manga, Sozo Sagara. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

This is a wonderful picture, the shading is very good and I'm glad there is a background most people don't do one(including me^-^) Overall it's really good. You should try coloring it but I think it looks good just the way it is.
