sadly, there are quite a few of those people at my school, the ones who just cut themself for the drama of it all, in hopes of creating a pity-party. i mean, they take a knife and hardly cut themself enough to even fracking bleed, then expect people to go aroudn saying 'oh i feel so sorry for them'

but then again, there are the poor people who really are gothic, or cut themselves because they like pain/blood, due to ACTUAL MENTAL PROBLEMS. they have to deal with all these preps-in-black with the faux-depression, which doesn't make it any better. I had a friend with real depression, so much so she had to take medication every day, who almost killed herself because she was so sick and tired of those pretend goths.
There is a difference between a medical condition and just cutting. I mean, honestly people, don't jump down her throat about something you disagree with. She posted her picture because she wanted to share it with you and you all attack her about it and start sharing your sob-sad stories and how mean she is. She's just honest. And for that, I say, thanks Sliver for being bold enough to say it how it is. You rock and so does your art.
