Wow! This is so awesome! Just the back leg in the back is too pointy on the joint thingy. well, i don't know final fantasy so i don't know what it is... so bleh. I really like the smooth blending of the shading!

If I tilt my head slightly to the left I can convince myself that the drawing is level . . . while obviously basd on Red's official character art, the main thing I notice is that Red's head is tilted a bit, but I think that's actually cool. 
 
Yeah, I could point out a number of issues this has. His back legs seem to be of different lengths, and his neck is too thin (right next to his face, you should be able to see his neck through there, but I see his right foreleg instead). 
 
Overall not a bad job. Sure it has a number of issues, but what drawings don't? And maybe try a different pose for Red, it's a little tiring to see him always drawn in the same pose as his official character art.
