This one is Colonel Saul Tigh, as he looks in the remake of Battlestar Galactica. A commission from my boyfriend, that I actually came around to paint ;)

If you are into BSG, you propably know this promo picture of Tigh. I tried again to paint a portrait with as close a likeness as I could manage. But somewhere during painting this worried, fearful look sneaked in and I liked it so much, I kept fleshing it out.
My favourite scenes with him have always been, when he worries about ... well, his life ... ahem ...

Yeah, the later seasons still haven't aired everywhere. I'll shut up, you guys who know them can probably guess what I mean ...

I guess the first half of the first season I was just sitting there thinking "Why the heck is Starbuck a girl? Why exactly is Starbuck a girl??!"
Skipped season two altogether.
But then I watched a few of the later episodes with my boyfriend and he kind of got me hooked ;)
