Description

My second attempt at the "Twilight wolf" of The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess game. My first attempt (which I still keep in my dA gallery, see here) kinda sucked -- I think I didn't adjust my scanner settings bright enough, plus the face didn't really look all that good to begin with, so I just had to try it again. A bit of closer study ([1]), a better sketch, and better colors, here is the much improved take #2.

Other: a 2nd place premium at the 2005 Tillamook County Fair (Lot 20 - Mixed Media)

I have to comment on this because it is AWSOME!
I just starting playing Twilight Princess a week ago, and I love it so far!
You drew this amazingly and with such detail!

it must be both, that the last one really sucked and that you're excited about the new game, to make you draw this green wolf. Why do you think he is green? so he can blend in with the forest? Why is he wearing a chain? what do those symbols mean on his forehead...and is that an earing. ooh it really brings out the color of his eyes....hehe. well it is a very good drawing. I think it must have took alot of time and nerves to make the fur look right. but it really looks nice. great job.

Because the trailer or kind of moniter the person has may look like he is green, and the reason why He Is wearing a chain because he was imprisoned when he was first pulled into Twilight , I don't know what the symbol means on his forhead, and yes It is an earring.

does that anwser your questions? (I am not trying to sound mean)

Did you start with black paper or did you colour the sky yourself? I like the texture on the fur, but the face seems a tad askew... I think the far eye could stand to be more overlapped by the brow, or perhaps narrowed down a bit just to make it appear more three dimensional.

Nice job on the links of the chain... it's a small thing, but I apppreciate well-drawn chains.

i so love this technique.i cant get over it. i am really looking forword to more picture done like this(if you are going to). The pose is prety nice to. I love the colouring, its a wounderful piece.

I like the other pic but I like this one better. I guess it's the cool pose. Again your work is fantastic.
