Description

Don't bother asking why I chose Samus for an MLP character, my inspiration just works that way. I have a few doubts about how the sketches for this one turned out (I originally wanted something a little more 'active', but I couldn't make it work out right), although the coloring does compensate for it... a little.

Hmm... what to do next... our Tillamook County Fair arrives this coming week and I'd like to have a drawing or two entered into it. That gives me about 24 hours tomorrow to choose a drawing or two and get them framed... or maybe complete another drawing and then get it framed... but of what?

Oh well, that's a different story.

hmm....It's been a while since I've commented on your magnificent works of imagination...so I guess I could now...This is really different, I havn't seen this type of....um...well, oh MLP! I really like the coloring; you still are doing really great with colors. I don't know who Samus is, but when I first saw this type of MLP it reminded me of Halo...Also, is that aqua colored thing a gun or grenade launcher or...what is it? And I'm not sure what you meant by active (when you said you wanted something alittle more 'active'), but by my interpretation of what you meant: I just wanted to say that I think this picture seams very realistic (maybe that's why I like it so much) and that I like how it looks like Samus is looking back, as if she had just heard something and she's getting ready to shoot what ever it was. But my point is: it's a really nice picture and I like it. I'll even add it to my favorites.

Yeah... I really don't know what to say about this. It is sweet. Much like you said the color is a real strong point here.

But fundamentally... this version of her would probly walk around as a tripod. Maybe a shoulder mounted cannon would make much more sense. But yeah you fully derived this from the character... so that would go against what you've got.

Anyway, this is creative, and well done. All I can't think about here is a Zoid though. Anyway sweet image.
