This one's difficult to categorize. He's based partly on My Little Pony, but partly on FF7 character Vincent. His pony name is "Vale".<br />

Vale looks like this due to the freakish genetics experiment that FF7 fans know and hate. An MLP at birth, but now a freak of nature; as time passes, he seems to loose more and more of the equine he once was. First the teeth, then the tail, now the claws. His pony symbol, the slashed heart, reflects this accursed condition.<br />
<br />
Vale will appear in "My Little FF7 Novel" in a later chapter, and serve an important role in the story. He might not even survive until the end... but that's a different story.<br />
