Metasoldier: Trans Aeria (2000)

The seventh and final entry from my holiday 2000 drawing spree, is 'Trans' Aeria -- a repaired and upgraded, more powerful form of Aeria.<br />

In her new form, Aeria keeps her twin swords and gryphon-based flight mode, but is faster, stronger, and now packs a plasma lance for additional firepower.<br />

On a related note, it was about here that I developed my technique of erasing pencil lineart (replacing with colored pencil) before shading it in color. It may seem moot, but it does improve the color quality of the shaded result -- pencil and colored pencil don't blend well together.<br />
