Though not necessarily aggressive, a Lucent Moonfox will defend itself with an appropriate response to each threat, displaying additional tails as it ignites progressively more kitsune power.

If all nine tails are seen then the situation must truly be life or death -- and the kitsune may even be already plotting a curse to use as its last resort.
