Walter: *He breaks the kiss and presses his forehead against hers, smiling*

Mia: *touches her nose to his, smiling back warmly. being in close proximity with someone was always something she enjoyed, but this time, it felt different. There was less heat and more warmth, and she rather liked it*

Walter: *Whispers to her* This isn't sleeping, you know. X3

Mia: *whispers back* I know. Don't care. X3

Walter: Mmhmhm... I don't really care either, so I guess this is okay. X3

Mia: X3 *nuzzles him, hugging him a bit closer* <3

Walter: *Softly kisses her neck* ... I could do this with you forever...

Mia: Mmm... you and me both... *briefly kisses his cheek, and then his lips, running her hands through his hair* i like this a lot...

Walter: *he kisses her back and nuzzles her happily*

Mia: *happily nuzzles him, using her other hand to rub his back* <3

Walter: *He closes his eyes, completely relaxed*

Mia: *leans up to kiss his forehead, then nuzzles back into his neck and closes her eyes, still rubbing his back*

Walter: *In a half an hour, Walter is fast asleep next to Mia*

Mia: *doesn't take too much longer to fall asleep--no matter how hard she tried to stay awake, to prolong that moment, her exhaustion caught up to her again, and she fell asleep... though not without a smile on her face*

The Next Morning

Walter: *Is still asleep, not realizing how exhausted he truly was*

Harry: *Is awake and studying his stitched up front*

Key: *is still asleep*

Mia: *is also still asleep*

Claire: *gets up, and spots Walter and Mia in the bed not too far away. she smiles a bit, and goes across the store to the others*

Walter: *He keeps a smile stretched across his face, beyond content from having her there, having her close*

Harry: *Keeps his hand there and looks out the window of the safe house door, beyond the bars that keep them safe* ...

Mia: *takes a deep breath, letting it out as a long sigh. at least they can stay like this for a while...*

Key: *falls asleep there, still loosely hanging on to Harry's hand*

Walter: ... Feeling tired? <:P

Harry: *notices that Key is asleep and smiles softly at her* <:)

Mia: Juuuust a little bit...

Key: *is asleep*

Walter: You wanna sleep? <:P

Harry: *He weakly nuzzles Key as best as he can before closing his eyes and quickly nodding off, himself*

Mia: Sure. <:P

Key: *asleep*

Walter: ... You know... I think I saw a bed back there. I definitely think that that would be better for your shoulder than, say, a couch. <:P

Harry: *Asleep*

Mia: Let's get over there, then. :P *goes to stand, rolling her sore shoulder a bit to try loosening it up again*

Key: *asleep*

Walter: *Stands with her, giving her hand a light squeeze, then walks over to where the bed was*

Harry: *asleep*

Mia: *follows him over. she spots Claire asleep on a couch a little farther away* ...heh...

Walter: *He also sees this and smiles a bit, amused. Then he climbs into the bed. He whispers* Ooh... comfy. :3

Mia: Ooh, is it? *climbs into bed next to him* Ooooh, it is. X3

Walter: Even better with you next to me. X3 *He snuggles with Mia*

Mia: A very true fact. X3 *nuzzles into his neck, putting an arm over him*

Walter: *He kisses her and closes his eyes, cuddling with her* <3

Mia: *slowly kisses him back, drawing out the moment* <3

Walter: Feeling better...?

Harry: *Nervously watches Claire walk away* <8C

Mia: *nods* Mhmm...

Key: Harry, are you okay? D:/

Walter: Would it be okay if I stop for now? <:P

Harry: Yeah, I'm fine. <___<;

Mia: *smiles* Yes, that's totally okay. :P

Key: *isn't quite convinced* Ooookay. <:P

Walter: Alright then. <:P *He gives her a peck on the cheek* <3

Harry: *feels awkward* <:/

Mia: *kisses him on the lips* <333

Key: *also feels rather awkward* ... >__>

Walter: *Is a bit taken aback by the kiss, but kisses back happily*

Harry: ... So... Um. What now?

Mia: *lifts a hand to his cheek, and kisses him a bit more deeply*

Key: I dunno... Are you hungry? <:/

Walter: *Kisses her back just as deeply*

Harry: ... Not... Not really...

Mia: *breaks the kiss to catch her breath, smiling*

Key: Okay... *sits back down in front of the couch*

Walter: *He smiles warmly at Mia, his love for her burning strong*

Harry: *He gently brushes some of Key's hair to the side of her head* ...

Mia: *her smile widens, and she nuzzles into his neck, closing her eyes, hugging him close and ignoring the ache in her shoulder--she just wanted to be close to him*

Key: ...? *gives him a small smile, eyes twinkling with affection*

Walter: ... Is it odd to say that I'm happier now, in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and with you, then I've ever been my entire life WITHOUT a zombie apocalypse? <:)

Harry: *Smiles back a little at Key, sharing that same look of affection*

Mia: *with a hint of sadness* Considering what I know about you, it's not... but I'm glad I could change that. <:)

Key: *rests against the couch, her head leaning slightly against his shoulder. she closes her eyes, and sighs happily*

Walter: I'm glad that you exist, heh. <:)

Harry: *He drapes his long arm over her shoulder, lightly touching her hand with his* <:)

Mia: I'm glad I met you, Walt...

Key: *lightly touches the back of his hand, stroking the back of it with her fingers* <:)

Walter: *He carefully hugs her, being gentle enough to not irritate her shoulder* <3

Harry: *He smiles softly at this, enjoying the moment as well as his proximity to her*

Mia: *snuggles against him, not really caring about her shoulder at all, no matter how much it hurt right now. it was just them*

Key: *feels warm and comfortable there, next to Harry. she very nearly dozes off*

Walter: Speaking of comfort ~ *goes back to massaging Mia's shoulder*

Harry: >////>; *he nuzzles Key back*

Mia: ohhhhhh yay... *relaxes again, smiling contentedly*

Claire: *smiles a bit, then goes back to looking out the window*

Key: *notices how red he is, and smiles, pulling away a bit* You know, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. <://P

Walter: *Continues gently massaging her shoulder* <3

Harry: Oh well, I-I'm not -- I just... I'm a little scared? Not of you, just the idea - the idea of BEING... With. Uh. You. Not that I don't like it or anything, I'm just afraid of screwing up. Again. <:////C

Mia: *lets out a happy sigh* <3

Claire: *watches a few commons mill about outside* ....

Key: *smiles warmly* I'm sure you'll do just fine. <:)

Walter: *kisses her as he does this*

Harry: You really think so? <:)

Mia: *kisses him back* mm.. <3

Key: *nods* Mhmm. <:) You just have to get used to it, that's all.

Claire: ...

Walter: I hope it feels nice... <:)

Harry: ... Getting used to... You, you mean?

Mia: It does...

Key: Just... being with someone. Y'know, in general. I guess. <:P

Claire: *feels almost like she's intruding--she goes off to explore the store*

Walter: Brilliant. I'll just keep this up, then. X3

Mia: mmm, please do.

Claire: ! *looks back at him, a bit confused, but turns around and approaches them, an eyebrow raised*

Walter: *keeps it up* X3

Harry: Don't just get up and leave... I mean, you're a part of this group too, right? <:/

Mia: *is quite comfortable* X)

Claire: I was just going to take a look around... besides, I assumed you would like some privacy.

Key: Were we being too awkward? D///;

Claire: What? No, that's not it at all...

Walter: *nuzzles her as he massages her* <3

Harry: Ah... <:/ *She may not feel awkward, but he's afraid of going too far with Key with no Claire in the room*

Mia: *nuzzles him back, putting her hand over his*

Claire: *sighs* I'll be back. *keeps walking*

Key: *wonders why Harry seemed so intent on keeping her there* :/

Harry: *He just stares at Key for a minute, then hesitantly brings his hand up to his face to touch where he was slapped* D: ...

Key: *stares back at him until he moves his hand--then she looks away, trying to hold back frustrated tears. her voice cracks when she speaks* I HATE IT when you talk like that...

Mia: D:> ...

Claire: D: ...

Harry: *He doesn't quite know what to say. He lies there, just looking at her until finally sitting up with a pained grunt --*

Walter: 'ARRY DON'T! D8

Harry: *-- and wrapping his arms around her* ...

Key: ! ... *gently hugs him back, her voice quiet* you really shouldn't be sitting up...

Mia: <:C ...

Claire: ...

Harry: ... I know... I just don't like seeing you upset...

Walter: D:>

Key: ...th-then try and stop giving me reasons to be upset...

Mia: <:(

Claire: *would really hate to see how one would react to permanently losing the other--she promises herself that she'll do whatever she can to keep them--ALL of them--safe. she couldn't fail like she did before. not again*

Harry: *He frown heavily at this* I'm sorry, okay...? I just feel kinda... stuck... I never wanted to hurt you.

Walter: <:/

Key: I know... *pulls away a bit, so she could see his face* but that's what I'm here for, right? To get you un-stuck.

Mia: <:)

Claire: ...

Harry: >__> ... Okay... *He sighs and smiles a little at her* ... Okay. <:)

Walter: <:)

Mia: X)

Key: *smiles back at him* I think you should probably lay back down. <:P

Claire: ... <:)

Harry: ... Alright. *He slowly, carefully lies himself back down, though his front prickles with a burning fire as he does so, and he has to bite his bottom lip to keep from crying out*

Walter: ... I suppose we'll have to wait here. I hope we have enough food to last until we can go. D:

Mia: We could always go hunting for a grocery store again...

Claire: We have enough back there for a while. Don't need to risk another one of us getting severely injured.

Key: <:( *quietly* Sorry for hitting you, by the way...

Walter: Eh... I say we stay put until our supplies hit the "two or three days" point. Then we'll go searching around for stuff. <:/

Harry: ... It's okay. I would've done the same in your situation - *realizes how wrong that sounds* - I-I mean I wouldn't have hit you but that - that d-doesn't make me better than you or anything - I'M NOT SEXIST - I just- You - It's okay. D8>

Claire: *nods in agreement* Good plan.

Key: *laughs a little bit at his fumble, and shakes her head* If you say so...

Walter: Until then I guess we're lounging about in a furniture store. XP

Harry: *Is embarrassed by his clumsy response and his face becomes quite flushed* D///:>

Mia: Hey, at least we'll be comfortable. ;P

Claire: Heh...

Key: *notices, and reddens slightly in response* Really, it's okay! Honest! <://P

Claire: Uh oh. Welcome back, Harry. Don't worry, I watched to make sure he didn't mess anything up. It was that or risk you dying much sooner.

Key: *doesn't really know what to say to him at ALL... her grip on his hand tightens slightly, but she doesn't move otherwise* ...

Harry: ... Th-this was just... It was a waste of supplies... You could have done anything else... M-maybe throw me to the INFECTED...

Key: *is completely shocked by his words--before she can think, she's sitting up and slapping him across the face* ARE YOU CRAZY?! HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY THINK WE'D BE THAT CRUEL?!? D8>

Claire: *looks out the window as she eats, noticing how dark it was out. she wished she knew exactly what time it was... or what day it was...*

Walter: !! Oy, 'Arry's awake! :D

Key: *had dozed off a bit, but she immediately jolts awake and turns around to look at Harry* <:D !!

Harry: *Gives her a weak, dazed smile*

Walter: How're you feeling, 'Arry?

Harry: Nh...? Oh... M'fine...

Key: *puts her hand over his, squeezing it gently* <:)

Harry: ... Room's kinda... spinning. D;

Walter: That's probably the morphine. Or the after-effects of the surgery. Or the morphine.

Harry: *Lets out a slow, dazed laughter*

Walter: Or the morphine.

Claire: Definitely the morphine.

Key: How long does it take to wear off? <:/

Claire: It depends on the person... I'm not quite sure.

Mia: <__< *eats peanut butter*

Walter: Nice to see him smiling for once though, right? <:P

Harry: *Just kinda smiles and remains happy from the strange euphoria the morphine gave him*

Key: I guess... Just wish it was a real smile and not an "I'm high off these painkillers" smile...

Claire: *cracks a bit of a smile, though it quickly vanishes* All we can do is wait, then.

Walter: Once we can give him his happy pills, you'll start getting genuine smiles from 'im. :)

Walter: Maybe if we poke him enough, he'll wake up? :D

Mia: ... *gets up to go look around the safehouse for something to eat*

Claire: *sighs, rolling her eyes* Not all concern is romantic, Walter.

Mia: *comes back with a jar of peanut butter, eating out of it with her finger* ?

Walter: Oh I'm just teasing. XP Try not being so uptight. Stress can do things to yer 'ead.

Claire: *snorts, but says nothing else*

Key: *goes back to watching Harry*

Mia: Uhm... *holds up the jar* Anyone want peanut butter...?

Walter: ... I have never had peanut butter. :/

Claire: Was there anything else back there?

Mia: Oh yeah, tons of jars of stuff, like, jam, jelly, plus a bunch of canned fruit. :D

Walter: *scoops up some peanut butter and tries it* ... Oh. O_O

Claire: *goes to the back room to get something to eat*

Key: *sits and waits* ...

Walter: Why having I been MISSING OUT my ENTIRE LIFE?? D8>

Mia: I dunno, you tell me! *hands him the jar* Keep that. :P *louder* Hey Claire, could you grab another jar of peanut butter??

Claire: *from the other room* Uh-huh!

Walter: <8'D *DEVOURS THE PEANUT BUTTER*

Harry: *He shifts a bit in his unconsciousness*

Key: ! ...

Claire: *comes back with few jars in hand* Mia-- *tosses the jar at Mia*

Mia: --!! *fumbles for a moment, but catches it* Whoo. Thank you~

Claire: Mhmm. *opens up her jar of strawberry jam* ... :)

Walter: Well, just in case. *immediately takes off Harry's coat and shirt and starts cutting Harry open with the scalpel, careful not to damage him more than he already is*

Harry: *...*

Key: D8!! *looks away*

Claire: *stays close by, watching him, just to make sure he doesn't cause more damage*

Walter: *putting on rubber gloves, he begins his crude surgery, fixing up cracked and broken ribs as best as he can, replacing blood, and making sure Harry stays numb and unconscious at all times*

Harry: *...*

Claire: *occasionally points out something he's missed, or something she feels he should avoid, but otherwise remains silent*

Key: *waits around nervously, unwilling to watch*

Mia: *does the same, milling about the safehouse, a bit bored*

Walter: *He works hard to fix punctured organs, crushed bones, all he can, until, hours and hours later, he believes he's done enough* ... What do you guys think? Done?

Harry: *...*

Claire: *nods* Don't think there's any more we can do for him.

Key: *is very anxious about this whole ordeal, the worry showing in her face* Mmh...

Mia: *sighs a bit in relief*

Walter: Alright then, let's sew the bloke back up -- *He begins doing so, carefully*

Harry: *...*

Claire: *watches* ...

Key: *twiddles her fingers, waiting nervously* ....

Mia: *stares at the ceiling, vaguely wondering how long it'll be until they can actually start moving again*

Walter: *Still sewing* ... It would be terrible if he still ends up dying. Like, he'll stand up and fall apart because I may have done a fracked up rot of a job.

Harry: *...*

Key: D-Don't SAY that...! D8>

Mia: *facepalms*

Claire: *sighs* If it wasn't because you needed to concentrate, I would have smacked you.

Walter: Well, eh... If he survives, we get to give him Prozac later. I'm sure you can all understand how fun 'Arry will be on Prozac. :3

Harry: *...*

Mia: Ohhhh boy.

Claire: *sighs, shaking her head* Are you finished yet?

Walter: Just about... Aaand... There. *He backs off*

Harry: *...*

Mia: ! *glances over*

Key: ! *finally managed to bring herself to take a look* ...

Claire: Mind if I look him over?

Walter: Go ahead! ^^ If anything, I do believe I stitched him back up rather nicely.

Claire: *looks Harry over*

Key: ...Do you think he'll make it?
