a water dragon...the scanner messed up the bottem right hand corner...*hexes scanner* the eye should be brighter, and the tail didn't turn out quiter right, too many sharp angles...nothing else to say...

Actually, no, the scanner didn't mess up. If the sheet of paper you're scanning is larger (even slightly larger) than the scanner bed, then one corner of the paper will inevitably turn out shadowed like that (because it isn't laying down FLAT against the scanner glass like the rest of the sheet). It happens to my drawings (9x12" paper in an 8.5x11.5" scanner) all the time... all you can do (aside from getting a larger scanner) is learn to expect that, and avoid drawing too close to the edges so that you can crop the shadowed edges off after scanning. :)
