FINALLY DONE.

Photoshop, ~13 hours. Luke fon Fabre of Tales of the Abyss.
Along the line, I have come to a stunning revelation:
...I can't color backgrounds for crap. Seriously.
So, sorry about all that. And some griminess here and there, and some crap, and this and that, and that terrible ground. Shoot, pretty much the whole background. D:

But oh well. I'm quite happy with my basic coloring on the skin and hair, and little Luke's clothes. : )

Anyway. Theme 11 - Memory.

Excellent characters as always, but I feel special mention must go to the background - the rocks and ground are superb ;)

You color like you know what you're doing perfectly well... makes me slightly jealous. XD You really did a superb job coloring here, my favorites being his hair and shirt, but I really do like the background as well. Just how it slowly loses complexity...very lovely.

I can definitely see your love for this character in your art. Wonderful job on this~

You know...I got a tutorial on how to colour stuff in photoshop like this and I couldn't do it. Even with all the steps in front of me. So I'm very envious of you right now.

Considering the simple lines on the background I personally think you did a fine job. The toning on the rocks is lush.

My secret is rather simple- smudge tool like mad. XD;
And occasional workings with opacity and all. :3

It's perty! I can't color on the computer worth a flip.... so you did a very good job! His clothes are good.... and his hair! May I hug him? Pwease? *huggles* This is awesome... look at it as if it wasn't your pic.... would you like it? ;) It's beautiful.
