The first commission of my second batch it completed! Gaze upon Duo Maxwell!<br />

It was pretty easy actually. Some parts required creative thinking, but it wasn't much of a challenge. Sort of a good thing so I could let my brain take a break. <br />

A commission for an uber-Duo fan, if you somehow couldn't guess. ;) I have a feeling she's going to love me for it. Share the love!<br />

Acrylics hand painted on clear acetate paper. No computers were used other then to scan and crop. Go me!

o_O Okay, I'm thinking you traced the lineart there, and then painted it like a regular cell.... I have seen that kind of picture of Duo all over the place... Hmmmm.... And you can sell these? O_o; I guess it's a lot cheaper then buying the real cells that are actually used. XD *heh heh*

No, I did draw it. It looks like the actual anime design (I'm sure you've seen it) because it's supposed to. It's a reproduction cel of the original anime design, so the point is to make it look as close to the original as possible. However, it isn't just an exact image, it's that same image replicated on clear acetate like a real animation cel. If you look at the edges, you'll see the shadows the paint leaves.<br /><br />
If you require further proof, I can show you a picture of me holding a cel I've made. I can't show you this one, because it was a commission and is now in the hands its owner, but I have many others still in my possession. I stand by my work.
