It makes my heart swell. I feel like crawling into a corner and crying and hugging a random person on the street.
I think what really got me was the silhouette of the geisha behind the old woman.
The lighting is absolutely beautiful...man, i just love it all.

The amount of detail you put into this is absolutely crazy, it looks amazing! A lot of times people slack off on the background, but yours looks just as great as the rest of the picture.

Beautiful concept... it's kind of sad but has a nice feel at the same time. C:

But uh, what exactly is going on with her legs? Is she in the process of standing up?

What a beautiful concept =) It looks liek there's snow around the geisha memory, which reminded me of dancing in the snow here in Russia. Very beautiful picture

Alright, once its finally done, might be awhile. I'm away in college so I don't get much time to work on it, then since I'm broke and we're renting so there's not much I can do to it other then decorate a tad.
