WhiteWolf
Ok this is Ragnarok, the Norse end of the world. It starts when the wolf Hati eats the moon, and the wolf Skoll eats the sun. From there the ship Naglfar (a ship made from the fingernails of the dead) is launched. then there will be an earthquake and the blackwolf Fenrir will break loose as well as the midgar serpant, the Ouroboros. Then the sky will split and Surt will come burning the world before and behind him. Followed by Loki leading the frost giants. Then all the God will come from Yggdrasil (the tree of life) to fight them. Odin upon his horse Sleipnir (who has 8 legs), and with his raven Munin, will try to fight Fenrir and be swallowed. Basicaly everyone dies.<br />

Ancient_Naiad_WishesWow! I love mythology, especially Geek and Norse, and I love this picture. Although the tale of Ragnorak isn't my favourite ((my favourite is when Loki gets stuck in the form of a mare and is "wooed" by a stallion, hahaha, that's one funny myth)), I think this pic depicts it really well. It's truely wicked.
