Hmm i should try drawing kirby using just circles, ^^; i jsut now realized that's all he's composed of, lol. I tell ya, I had a horrible time drawing kirby for my first time, but now I kinda got the hang of it. I should post my kirbys up here, hehe. Anywayz, i think your kirby would be better if he had less purple and then lighten up the pink color a bit ^_^ Don't make it so dark. Otherwise, great for your first!!
