Yes, yes, after over five years on FAC, I finally, FINALLY have gotten sick of drawing other people's ideas for them. There have been a few enjoyable ones, but mostly because I like to have fun and stray from what the requester wanted.

But I've noticed that a HUGE part of my gallery consists of stuff I did for other people. There was a time when I would have killed for so many requests, but now it's become distressing to have so many of my own ideas dying on the runway because I'm too busy drawing stuff I don't even end up LIKING in the end. I hate it. Maybe now I can dust off some of those ideas of mine and get them out there so you can all see what I'm REALLY made of.

Requests and art trades are still open to some people, however. You ought to know who you are, and that I love you so much that I'm willing to draw anything under the sun for you at your command. You guys never ask for anything stupid anyway.

I apologize if this isn't up to my usual skill level. I was focusing more on getting it finished quickly.

I know... But then I feel guilty about making people wait so long. :C I sort of feel pressured to finish requests first, so it's best if I just don't get any for now.

YOU ARE RIGHT FALCON. COMPLETELY RIGHT. I never thought about it that way. I SHOULD GO ON ART-TRADE BOYCOTT!

*revolution* -Because 90% of the people I have done art-trades up with in the past have just been pushing for me to do my work when they have never even TOUCHED their sides- not even now (I think they deleted their accounts or permanently left).

*rant* I should make a rule that says "From now on, I will only set up art-trades with those I deem good/trustworthy enough to make an art-trade with. That means I will rate your skill, maturity as an artist, and just plain artistic determination before I accept to accept or give anything to you." WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE?! TELL ME WISE FALCON!

it's always good to take a break from requests and do the ideas you want unless you're in an art block or in a mood to do requests

True, but I'm having sort of the opposite of an art block. XD I have so many things I want to draw. Hopefully this will give me enough time to draw them.
