This is kind of the finished cover; in that, I finished the whole picture, made most of the layers invisible, and saved it.
Done in both SAI and GIMP. The overall effect, I think, is FREAKING AWESOME.
I have yet to decide if this switching back-and-forth between programs is how I'll be doing this manga from here on out, but I'll try it with the remainder of this chapter. I will definitely be doing the other covers this way, though.
Yes, Sollux is a Gemini. No, this is not a Homestuck reference. I've loved astrology for more years than Homestuck has even been a thing, so it was kind of obvious I'd do something astrology-related sooner or later. However, if I'd done the symbol red-and-blue, THEN it would have been a reference. A Gemini demon is the thing Ken will be fighting first, and no, he's not a psionic. (Unless you count "astral projection" under the psionic category...)
