hey! dont quit! you have to keep trying. you might think you suck really bad, but you dont! it doesent matter what those mean tools say. dont let other idiots make you quit. you just have to keep trying. you fall down, you get up again. PRACTICE! i have a couple spoilers on my thing, but i keep trying and i get better at it. how do you think those other exellent artists got so good. no one is born drawing really good. they worked their way up to the good artist catagory. come on! draw more. thats what everyone (well almost everyone) want, more drawings!

And another thing...
If you do a tutorial on shading you should at least know what you're doing, which you obviously don't.
Your examples have close to know real shading and are very flat looking.
