Ok, But remember Sony randomized them until the VW so they weren't always there.

I know these were still around when the Jackpot round premiered in 1996. If you wake a look at the 3000th episode which is on YouTube (part 2 at about 2:30), you can see the red backdrop from an episode from about 1996 or 1997. It's proof right there they were still around until then.
