Description

Although the original drawing is long gone, this is probably my oldest drawing that is survived by this picture. Ten years ago, I remember developing a crazy love for Velma from the Scooby-Doo series. This was drawn probably sometime in the spring of 1999. Days later, my mother took this picture of me (at nine years old) with this drawing.

Anyway, yeah, it is an old picture. If I still had it, it'd be like about 10 years old.

I started to draw in 1993.I was a BIG fan of Tiny Toons but in 1998 I threw away my drawings.Only four survived to today (the four cheerleader drawings in my gallery).
There was a pause afterwards.
On the Thursday after 9-11-2001 I restarted to draw again,out of anxiety.That drawing is not in my Fanart Gallery but I still have it.
The weird thing is that after my mom passed away in August 2008 I lost my urge to draw,but I know it's a phase that will pass.

Well, I was gonna ask you how things were going, but I can't tell you how sorry I am about your mother's loss. :( Was that part of the reason why you weren't around much lately?

Yes it's the reason why I haven't drawn anything new.I can't explain it,I just don't feel the urge to draw.
I think what might be going on is that I have had my concerns elsewhere;things mom used to do,I now have to do.Things she worried about,I now worry about.I've been at my dad's side.
