First of all, I can't take credit for this. Because I drew it with the help of a tutorial from Elfwood on dragons.

This dragon was a lot better behaved subject to draw compaired to my last wolf I drew. The dragon, only needed one scooby snack ... and he toasted them too. Very tastey ...

So, I drew this today over the course of 5 hours. I was at a scrap booking club ... and I just wasn't in the mood for a scrap booking session ... so this was the result.
I did use a lot of silver pen on this.. that really highlighted it. But it doesn't show up too well on the scanner.

I used a 2b to sketch this.. then I inked it and then shaded it in with a 3b and coloured it with chalk. Then I spent about an hour re-inking lines back in and added the silver pen ... and a little blue too.

And that's about the end of my rant!

Trinity_FireHey, for your first dragon pic, that's real good. O_O
Only tips I see would be to perhaps define a more... lizard/dragon-ish face, and to perhaps give them longer, more lengthy and long legs, as dragons shouldn't be too squat and fat. :D

Still, the muscular work, the details and design, the anatomy and wing, all really lovely. :)
Keep it up.

StratadrakeYeah, scanners don't pick up metallic tones. If you want it to look shiny or reflective when it's scanned, you have to do this by varying the light and dark shades you use. Takes a little more work, but looks just as cool when scanned.
