Description
"シャドーマンの弟子 (SHADOUMANNODESHI)": NINJIIRO's new action/adventure manga to debut on the 7th of July 2031, with the approval of CAPCOM.
With no successors to pass the ancient, complicated ways of KIREKAGE-JUTSU onto, ShadowMan makes his peace with being the last master, and that when he dies, the secret arts of the TSUKINOROBO clan will die with him. At the same time, a mute robot master from the disgraced and struggling ORDINAIRE LABS named BladeMan wishes to find purpose, something he'd lost years ago following the 2nd war on CRORQ.
Wanting to discard his past and focus on becoming stronger, he estranges himself from the laboratory and adopts a nomadic lifestyle. This ends up becoming troublesome as he finds himself outgunned by government Joe units in a forest one night. Through a stroke of luck, he is saved by none other than ShadowMan, who takes out the remaining members of the squadron. He plans to eliminate BladeMan as well, but to his surprise, the injured robot master seeks no quarrel and requests that he teach him how to master the blade, in exchange for his servitude. ShadowMan, seeing this as an opportunity to revive the TSUKINOROBO legacy, takes BladeMan under his wing as his apprentice.
Outside the prying eyes of ShadowMan's home at WILY FORTRESS and the investigative robots of ORDINAIRE LABS, they begin training in the very forest they met in. The two only grow closer as they overcome many trials, get justice, uncover esoteric histories, redefine the meaning of belonging, and realise the tenets of true courage. Just as well, they discover what it means to rely on someone, as their bond develops ever more into something closely resembling friendship.
So anyway, this doesn't exist. I just made up this summary just now, and kind of wish it did exist though. Just like that RingMan-FakeMan cop show that's never going to see a proper release but I pine for anyway.
This is just a silly doodle that was originally gonna be a part of a dump but man. I made up this whole blurb and now I kind of want cover art to match the feel oops. I don't know, might fool around and make a more fleshed out thing sometime.
Also this Blade here is a redesign of mine. Wonder if those all shouldn't go up here at some point.
