Seraphim: An extremely ancient divinity. The highest order of angel (in Dionysian and Jewish lore). Unlike the angels, seraphs possess six wings each; beings with human forms and facial characteristics of a lion, bull, human and eagle. They are the angels of love, light and fire. Some doctrines describe them as creatures with four faces (as in the book of Isaiah). Many are the depictions, myths and beliefs concerning these magnificent beings... Your comments are welcome...
