Kali, a terrifying deity that sprang out of Durga's (the warrior goddess) forehead... Kali also known as Chandi the fierce, a fearsome being with a black hue, large fangs, fiery tongue and long matted hair… She is often depicted with four arms, clinging cobras on her wrist, shoulder and crown, a garland of skulls adorn her person, carrying a sword for cutting demon's heads off and hauling a severed head into battle… Your comments are welcome (BL copy rights 2000)...
