Anyway, I had fun doing this one! ^^ Sonic came out really well! Shadow was kinda hard to shade though... But all in all I like this picture!

why ARE they wearing gloves all the time?

ANSWER: Sonic Team hasn't figured out what their hands would look like without 'em cause they always wear 'em, and they'd look strange without 'em.

Same deal with shoes. What WOULD Sonic's feet look like? It's impossible to imagine, really.

Actually, in the final boss of Sonic and the secret rings, Sonic isn't wearing gloves or shoes.

There is a game fore the Wii called Sonic and the Secret Rings. When fighting the final boss, Sonic turns into a new form, Darkspine Sonic. Darkspine Sonic doesn't have any gloves or shoes.
