Yea, this is Kohaku's sad, sad past. She lived in a village that hated demons, so, when she was still young, and didn't know her power, she was tortured. They whipped her and chained her up and a cold, damp cell. So, yea. Thats her past. Then she wiped out the village when she was eleven, and so on and so forth. The lyrics are from Evanescene's song, Bring Me To Life. Oh do I love that song...
