I drew a semi-poster for my other manga called "Blackening." This will be my first real shounen manga, so I will [attempt to] work on my action scenes! Like this one, LOL:

This is the not the manga I will be submitting next on FAC though. I have not even worked on Blackening yet, ahhah! Super unnecessary/early/suspenseful notice! The plot is about an orphaned chimney sweeper boy who is brought up by a wanted powerful witch because the boy was born out of pure dark magic, so he is a walking dark mana bomb! His mother also infused a powerful light god in his body, and he can only speak through it through a pendant he finds in a nobleman's house in the beginning of the manga. I will work with the plot later. P;
I drew it with a jetstream ballpoint pen(it IS like a jet of ink!) and colored with red and light brown crayola markers- because I am too cheap for the more expensive mediums. I then made more highlights with Photoshop, and BOOM! I made an origami frog. It has been a while since I have explained what I used to make the picture. I might as well be more extensive. I also used my toe to scratch the picture! There! ;P
I actually spent many more hours editing it on PS, and when I was done, I realized the original version looked better, so...so many hours USED UP! D; I will not throw the edited version away. LOL, it looks super evil.

Why are you so great? For real.You have such a wonderful style. It's so sketchy and unique. Plus the colors here mesh together really well and focuses your attention on a few main things.
Especially the lad's eye at the bottom, it's really eye catching.
Shoot me for that awful unintended pun.

LOL! I love puns. I did not even notice it until you pointed it out, and then I laughed out loud quite forcefully simply because I wanted to.YOU like my artstyle!? HAH! This is coming from you! I adore yours! You can make your own cartoon; I, once again, love your work.
Thanks a lot! On this piece, I felt the brown marker may have been overused it a little, so I thought the focus was a little lost a bit. Photoshopping the piece may have made it look worst. This is why PS does not work for already really detailed traditional works, lol. And I am indeed a detail freak.

Goodness me, that's DARK! And the darker, photoshop-manipulated one even more so! AWESOME!! I LOVE dark stuff :DThat sounds like a fun manga :D If it ever shows up here, I'll for sure check it out :D

Woah, this really looks interesting!! I'd love to read it if you manage to post some! ^___^This art is so cool! But a little hard to define figures and characters on the upper left area(lol, I see Kogi in the bottom left)
Would "Blackening" be the name of the series btw? That would be epic if so! *faves*
Hmm... I love both versions but they have different feels: The one you linked just looks like it's bursting with power just trying to get out, while this one posted here seems to keep a steady, slower flow of power, due to the lighting. If he's like a ticking time bomb, then the further photoshopped version seems to fit better IMO.

AHHH! *pulls hair out* ;A; Maybe I should not have given such early notice of this manga- because people will expect me to upload it first! LOL, I am actually uploading a different manga-with a much different genre! Oh the silly people will not know what hit them! lolThank-you! I had a feeling that long PS work showed the more "evil" atmosphere I wanted, but I was afraid it was too bright and detailed to understand. I switched the original with the PS edited version! Unfortunately, you can only see the changes in fullview right now. Strange, hehe. Thanks so much!

This manga might go on DA instead of FAC(since...you should read my blog on FAC, lol. '-' It explains it better. DA might be the better palce to put the manga when I finally make it.).Do NOT feel jealous of me! I equally love your funny yaoi ideas with all your characters. When I made my roommate series, I did unconsciously definitively want my characters to be just as lovable and deep as yours. I wanted to love my characters, and I do, as you do yours. I cannot want to see more of sexy Remi- I mean the other peeps. >o> LOL HEHE

this looks amazing! the story line sounds really interesting. i like really dark stories like this.the drawing is awesome. i love that you can make something really amazing withought super exspensive materials.
i really like the top character with the hat, and the character to the right from the bottom. :D
