apparently he was grounded, and he went to inquire about if he could get un-grounded in time, and apparently the answer on thursday was no. then, on saturday, when i went to the dance and asked him how he managed to get ungrounded, he said "i begged", and he wouldnt disclose any more information after that ^^;
