Twilight: *leaves, and comes back with a pair of tylenol and a glass of water*

Eclipse: thank you... *has sit up. He rubs an eye, and is about to reach for the tylenol, and water, when his headache sharply skyrockets in the painful-meter* NNRRGH!! *clutches his head, shivering*

Me: well, it's not like it's just a plain ol' room... its more like an apartment-ish thing. y'know, bedroom separate from the rest of the room, blah-dee-blah-dee-blah.

Me: oh ok.

Eclipse: *...*

Jacob: *sees him* ... *carefully unpeels the covers, and looks closely at the tiny spikes on his back* ... *in a whisper* they're not so bad now... barely noticeable... I'll try working faster on the antibiotics... inform me if it gets worse...

Twilight: will do..... maybe you should get ivy to help. she DID work in the same lab, after all.....

Jacob: that would be wise. Wish me luck, eh? *leaves*

Eclipse: *...*

Twilight: yeah... you're really gonna need it..... *looks back at eclipse* <:(

Eclipse: *as the door shuts, Eclipse's ear twitches* mnn...?

Twilight: morning. :) you feelin' ok?

Eclipse: *mumbles something about having a headache. His eyes are barely open*

Twilight: *frowns, her concern increasing* do you want me to get you a tylenol or something?

Eclipse: ...yusplease... *yawns*

Me: yai!

Eclipse: *still asleep. He seems more relaxed now*

Me: you're skipping ryu.

Twilight: *looks over at eclipse, and sighs in relief when she sees him more relaxed, but can't help but notice the spikes on his back* .....

Eclipse: *...*

Jacob: *knocks softly*

Me: ummmm no. You did.

Me: no, i was on my emails. if i didn't get an email, that means YOU skipped.

Twilight: ..... *gets out of bed, puts a jacket on over her pajamas, and opens the door* hey Jacob.

Jacob: ... how is he?

Eclipse: *...*

Me: how about you actually go back and check? :P

Twilight: .....it looks like he's growing spikes out of his back.....

Me: now it's ready.

Jacob: !!!! May I see him??

Eclipse: *...*

Twilight: *nods and let him in, leading him towards their room*

Me: b'aww....

Me: aren't they already IN their room? :P

Everyone: *jumps* !!!

Eclipse: *after a few seconds of standing there, huffing, he realizes how... odd... that unexpected rage was* ... p-perhaps I do need to lie down a bit... sorry for yelling like that...

Arty: i-it's ok dad. like mom said, you're prob'ly just tired.

Twilight: yep. now come on eclipse, back to our room. :P

Eclipse: *slowly, silently, he nods, and walks off to their room*

Kids: *look at each other* <:S

Twilight: *when they both get into their room* eclipse, what's gotten into you?

Eclipse: *leans against the wall* ... I don't know...

Twilight: ....did they ever get rid of those chamicals?

Eclipse: ... Jacob said he was working on it... like, creating some kind of antibiotic, or something that'll destroy the chemicals...

Twilight: well, hopefully he'll get that done soon......

Eclipse: *growls* and what if he can't??

Twilight: calm down eclipse, he'll find a cure, i'm sure of it.... if not... you'll just have to control yourself...

Eclipse: Twilight, I don't even realise I'm doing it when I am! HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO CONTROL MYSELF?? D8<

Twilight: ! .......

Eclipse: )8< ... ... ): ... ah... I did it again, didn't I?

Twilight: yyyyyyyeahhhh....

Eclipse: ... sorry...

Twilight: it's ok.....

Eclipse: no it's not!! Why am I like this?? WHY CAN'T I BE NORMAL FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE??

Twilight: *points upwards* because critic and mish enjoy torturing you!!!

4th wall: *nuked* boom-asplodes.

Eclipse: *wordless scream*

Me: lol.

Twilight: *backs away just a little bit*

Me: can we stop pulling "xions"? XD no jk, i love Xion. in a totally non-gay way. gawd.

Eclipse: *turning on Twilight* GET OUT!! JUST... GET OUT!!

Me: I dun MEAAAAANNN TOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Me: i was kidding! XD

Twilight: ... *complies, and leaves the room*

Eclipse: *huffs a bit. He screams again, and sits down at the desk that is conveniently there. He tightly clutches his head, whimpering as if in pain (which he is)* guuuh.... what's going ON with me...?? Gnnnhhh...!! Arrrrgh... *holds his head MOAR TIGHTLY* what's happening to me...??

Me: want any specific assistance?

Me: not neccessary

Eclipse: *stops squeezing his head* hff... hff... it... it stopped... *looks up* ... these chemicles... they need to go. >:(

Me: o... kay then?

Me: lol, you'll see l8r.

Eclipse: *stands up* ohhh god... *now very dizzy. He moves to the bed* ...as if I've rested ENOUGH... damn all of this CRAP!

Me: should twilly come back....?

Eclipse: *annoyed, he realizes his only option is to sleep. He gets into bed. An hour later, he is asleep, but he shakes, and shivers under the covers. He's curled up, in pain*

Me: well, sure, NOW it's ok... but if she entered the room before he was asleep, he would've bitten her head off again. :P

Twilight: *comes back into the room. she notices his shivering, and frowns.* ...... *goes to take a shower, then comes back and gets into bed, snuggling behind eclipse and hugging him, not knowing what else she could do*

Eclipse: *suprisingly, though his body tempurture has sky-rocketed, he is... somewhat SLIMY... which, though gross, can also be rather unsettling. Oh, and he's still in pain, and shivering* hhgh... ggnngh...

Twilight: *notices these things, and gets even more worried* i really hope jacob finishes that antidote thing soon.....

Eclipse: *there are short-ish spikes that have grown on his back, near his spines. He continues whimpering from the pain, and even softly sobbing, whilst still shaking*

Twilight: ? *feels something poking her and scoots away to get a better look. she sees... spikes? she runs her hand lightly down his spine, feeling the protrusions* oh god.... jacob, hurry....!

Eclipse: *the spikes, too, are sticky, and wet, covered in that same substance*

*morning comes*

Eclipse: *still asleep. He is no longer sticky, and moist, but the spikes are still there, and slightly more visable now. But only slightly*

Twilight: *didn't manage to get any sleep, for she was too worried about eclipse to let her mind settle down*

Me: omg. this person called Sparkly Faerie on fanfiction gives THE. BEST. WRITING ADVICE. she gave me 2 pms worth of advice (site limits pms to 8000 words) and i feel smarter already! :D

Me: comment up thar.

Me: sure, go nuts.

TWO WEEKS LATER

Eclipse: *is now permitted to go home. Inderretta has fixed him up nicely, however, he still has to wear bandaged around the areas that still need to heal on their own. His attitude has changed. He is different from the Eclipse that everyone knows and loves. He enters HNHQ*

People that had gone to visit him: >.> *avoid him*

Eclipse: *growls at a few mobians. He enters his and Twilight's room* ...

Twilight: oh! eclipse! *is glad to see him, but she knows he has changed and is currently unsure of his personality*

Me: oh my gawd, i LOOOOOVE creative writing~!

Eclipse: hello, Twilght. *smiles at her, though a shroud of darkness is around him (for those who can see in the "third eye")

Twilight: it's good to see you're back. ^^ *goes to hug him*

Eclipse: *he lets her hug him, hugging her back. This actually hurts him somewhat because of the still-healing skin. He holds in a yelp* ...nhrff...

Twilight: aah! *lets go* i'm sorry, i forgot.... D:

Eclipse: *growls a bit* yeah, whatever...|:(

Twilight: <:( .....

Eclipse: where are the kids? I want to see them again.

Me: if he hurts the kids, i'm going to kill you. (lol not really)

Twilight: they're in their room. you want me to go with you?

Me: he won't... but if they do anything that might piss him off, he'll, like, yell at them, and shoot. O_O

Eclipse: sure...

Me: and stuff that'll piss him of incluuuudes.....?

Twilight: okay. ^^*leads the way down the hall to their kids' room*

Me: normal annoying kid stuff.

Eclipse: *follows*

Me: g2g eat dinner

Twilight: *goes into their kids' room* hey guys~ guess who's back~

Eclipse: yes, I'm back... somewhat. I still need to recover some of my skin ^^;

Arty: *was about to hug him, but decides against it*

Arty: yeah me too! hospitals smell funny.

Eclipse: glad to BE back... I hate hospitals...

Mist: so how long until you're skin's all fixed?

Eclipse: months, probabally.

Eclipse: *stands there and just scowls, leaving the children confused by his sudden mood swing*

Mist: uhhhh.....

Twilight: ...come on, eclipse, you need your rest.

Eclipse: *in an unexpected raise of his voice* I DON'T NEED ANY GODDAMN REST!!

Mikenno: *folds his ears back as he notices the spreading darkness* ........no.....

Me: lol it keeps sounding more and more like KH to me XD

Eclipse: ... maybe he SHOULD be dead...

Mind: *now fully pitch black (in color, not lighting). A black liquid seems to drip a bit from the top of the mind, splattering the ground, like it was melting*

Eclipse: *doesn't notice this*

Mikenno: ....eclipse... look around...... look at your MIND.....

Eclipse: *frowns a bit, and looks around. A smirk appears on his face* ...how pleasant...

Mikenno: doesn't that BOTHER you??

Eclipse: *when he speaks, it's almost as if there's another voice behind his... but it's very faint... barely there...* not a bit. >:)

Mikenno: .......... D: *despair shows on his face* what's WRONG with you, eclipse....?

Eclipse: nothing's wrong, Mikenno. Tomorrow, Inderretta will come and fix me up. I've retrieved my memory on what happened. Nothing's wrong. You can go now.

Mikenno: *REFUSES to leave him like this* eclipse, you would never wish someone was dead. you always worry about the state of your mind. WHY CAN'T YOU SEE IT?!

Eclipse: I don't feel any different. Go.

Mikenno: D:> ............. *fades out of eclipse's mind*

IN THE HOSPITAL ROOM

Mikenno: ........

Eclipse: *had fallen asleep*

Mikenno: ...........

Eclipse: *...*

Doctor: *comes in* visiting times are over. If you would like to see him tomorrow, come between four 'o' clock pm, and seven.

Mikenno: ...okay. *stands up, stretches, and leaves the room*

A Black Tendril that was hiding: *slithers back into Eclipse*

Eclipse: *shudders a bit in his sleep*

Me: DUN DUN DUN

Mikenno: *feels something out of place, and hesitates as he walks down the hallway* ..........

Me: time jump?

Mikeno: look, i know you're seriously pissed off, but vengeance isn't the right answer. from what i saw, our friends got him good.

Eclipse: *still angry, he asks a question one would not expect from him... his voice getting much darker* is he dead?

His Mind: *seems to become fade into a darker shade with his voice*

Mikenno: ...i can see why no one wanted to tell you........

Eclipse: *silently, he watches himself, as a monster, attack everyone he loves. One of his hands is tightly cupped over his mouth as his breath rattles, and he holds in tears*

Mikenno: <:( ............

*when it's done, Eclipse lets out a sob*

Eclipse: hhggh... I can't believe I... that... that's not... *can't even speak a full sentence*

Mikenno: that wasn't you, eclipse.....

Eclipse: no no no...! I hurt Sonic...!! I almost ate the kids...!!

Mikenno: it WASN'T YOU, eclipse!!

Eclipse: OF COURSE IT WAS!! IT WAS MY BODY, RIGHT???

Mikenno: *louder* BUT IT WASN'T YOUR MIND, ECLIPSE!

Eclipse: WITH ALL MY EXPERIENCE, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO OVERCOME THE MIND CONTROL/ANIMAL INSTINCTS!!

Mikenno: BLAME THE ASSHOLE SCIENTIST THAT PUMPED YOUR BLOOD FULL OF CHEMICAL CRAP!!

Eclipse: ... ... *in quiet anger* ... where is he?

Mikenno: *notices this. he glances over to make sure eclipse is okay, then continues watching* ....

Eclipse: *as he watches himself transform, his expression becomes more and more horrified*

Light: *fades, and shows the inside of the cell eclipse was kept in*

Mikenno: ...this look familiar?

Me: you're describing the scene from now on, kay?

*The scene slowly replays*

Eclipse: ... *watching closely*

*then comes the transformation*

Eclipse: *winces, as if he can still feel the pain*
