I've been feeling down lately...for the past five months. Deaths in the family, illness...So when I read issue 172 of Sonic and saw what happened in it, I decided to scape together my meager drawing skills and this is what came out of my pencil. Yeah, it sucks, but it has that in common with all my other pics.

nextguardianthetruth- I don't mind constructive criticism, but "..." doesn't fall under that category.

Jo_PenI SWEAR, NG, that your drawing skills have greatly improved since i was last here!!!!!!!! Don't feel bad about your work...it is so much more than I could do! I am not as creative as you, and that is the truth! I hope things look up for you soon. I mean....they have to, right???? Lol...for me too, I hope.

QuanticChaos1000When I read that issue, I was so disgusted with Fiona, but I saw it coming for a long time (although not like that) I feel like Tails does a lot of the time.

You asked for my opinion on your drawing, I like the overall composition, and you may not believe me but my pictures look much like this before I erase parts I don't like, fix mistakes and lines that don't work for me, then I darken the outlines and shade!

Nobody can draw hands it seems, so I like to hide the hands on the days I can't seem to draw them, on the hips or behind the back works for me.

So you put yourself down, and tell me that you can't draw, but all you need is practise, doodling is a great way to practise, I doodle all the time (whenever there is paper near me) draw one part or one post over and over till you hate me for suggesting it! Look at my gallery starting from my first submission to my newest STH submission and you'll see that I have gotten somewhat better over time due to practising and doodling a lot!

To get a good feel for drawing a certain way  you can (I'm sure I'll get shot for saying this) trace an existing picture (you can't submit it though...LOL!) but it can help for getting a feel for the flow of a certain style of drawing thus making it easier over time through practise!

Of course these are all opinions, and you asked me for my opinion of your picture and I don't like doing that when asked because I really don't think that I have anything constructive to add to the discussion. Believe it or not I like your pictures because they are not tracings, they are original, and they all have meaning! that's saying a lot more than many, many other pictures here!
